Atlantic Descent, Biarritz 2007

A stormy summer day, the windswept waves beating on the coast. During a
break from the rain, I hiked to the south end of town and found these stairs
leading into the ocean. A person in the distance taking in the view and maybe
more… I was first drawn to the vastness around this individual and then to the
lines moving toward me and to the lines moving away - one continuous stairway.
