Relics (2011)

Found bed springs, with digital images of relics taken in Cambodia, Vietnam, India, and Los Angeles,
printed on transparency, hand-stitched. This pieces is about my interest in using a found object and
combining it with ancient relics in a new way. When well lit there is an interplay of shadow that further
enhances the imagery and springs that are stitched and hang away from the surface.
